Take the oil cylinder oil seal, if the oil cylinder oil seal leaks, either the outer oil seal (often referred to as the front oil seal) is damaged; or the oil cylinder itself has internal leakage, and the pressure is internally leaked. For example, the common excavator has dropped the arm. This internal leakage means that the inner oil seal (the rear oil seal) is damaged.
Small details determine the life of the oil seal:
1. You may also have seen that the old driver will carefully deal with the burrs at the chamfer of the joint surface before installing the oil seal, instead of picking it up and installing it. This seemingly inconspicuous action will greatly extend the life of the oil seal!
2. If the oil cylinder has been damaged, strained, scratched, etc. before the oil seal is replaced, the effect is not satisfactory even if the expensive oil seal is installed, so it is very necessary to deal with the failure of the accessories in advance.
3. The presence of contaminants, impurities, external dust, fine particles, etc. in the hydraulic oil can easily cause the oil seal of the accessories to be worn until it is scrapped and replaced.
4. High hydraulic oil temperature does not need to be described too much. There are countless examples of oil seal replacement every year due to high oil temperature accelerating oil seal aging. If it is determined that the root cause of oil seal damage is high oil temperature, then the owner should hurry up and repair it!
Although the oil seal is inconspicuous, its role should not be underestimated. Therefore, all owners should pay enough attention to it, especially in terms of accessories.
In addition, some attention should be paid to the daily construction process, and the use of the oil seal should be observed from time to time. If there is any abnormality such as damage, it should be dealt with as soon as possible to avoid major failures.
